I cannot log in

Is this a new account?
New accounts are manually vetted and set up, this process may take up to 24 hours. The account probably has not been set up yet. Contact helpdesk if it's been longer than 24 hours.

Are you entering your username all in lower case?
Case matters, Account, ACCOUNT, and account are three different accounts. Cotse always uses all lower case for the account name. The account name also does not include @cotse.net, it is the account all by itself.

Are you allowing cookies from Cotse servers?
You will need to allow Cotse.net if you are using privacy tools that strip out the authentication token.

Are you typing the correct password?
See forgotten password...oh and check caps lock key, password is case sensitive.

Is it the beginning of the month?
We disable expired accounts at the beginning of the month. If you cannot log in you may just need to renew.

If none of this helps contact helpdesk. Please don't forget to include your account name. Quite surprisingly we get a lot of mail that goes like this: "I can't log in, fix it!" Which is going to have us asking: "Ok, who are you?" We can skip this step if you tell us this first.
