Sent Mail

I sent mail that was never received

There are many reasons why this may be, these are listed in descending order with the most common first:

Recipient's e-mail filters filtered the message
It's in their Bulk/Spam folder or worse.

It could not be delivered
In this case the server will issue a notice as to why it was unable to be delivered. This notice will say why, if you do not understand the notice please mail helpdesk and ask them to decipher it for you.

A fake from address was used either by typo/mistake or on purpose
Today's mail servers will refuse mail from addresses where the domain does not exist. It will then issue a notice that it has rejected the message to that bogus from address, which, of course, the sender will not receive.

If you are certain it is not one of these and would like us to look into it we need the following information:

Date/Time sent (this must be within last five days)
To address
From address

Without all of this information we cannot even look. Without all of this information we can only respond as follows:

"Given the information provided we are unable to determine what, if anything, happened."
